Travel to West Yellowstone and enter the park at the west entrance. Tour all of Yellowstone’s lower loop, before returning to Big Sky.

Overnight Yellowstone Tour From Big Sky

Travel to West Yellowstone and enter the park at the west entrance. Tour all of Yellowstone’s upper loop, and spend the night in West Yellowstone.  Tour Yellowstone’s lower loop the next day, before returning to Big Sky that evening.

Yellowstone Lower Loop Tour

The lower loop tour focuses on Yellowstone’s thermal features. Sights and areas we hope to show you include the Madison Valley; the Lower Geyser Basin including Fountain Paint Pot and the boardwalk system; the  Midway Geyser Basin including Grand Prismatic Spring and Excelsior Geyser, plus the boardwalk system; the Upper Geyser Basin including Old Faithful, Old Faithful Inn and other geysers and hot springs; Biscuit Basin; Black Sand Basin; Isa Lake at the Continental Divide; West Thumb Geyser Basin with its boardwalks; Yellowstone Lake; Mud Volcano; the Hayden Valley; Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone; Gibbon Falls.

Yellowstone Upper Loop Tour

The upper loop tour has an emphasis on Yellowstone’s wildlife and beauty, while still including thermal features.  Places we hope to show you include the Madison Valley; Gibbon Falls; both Porcelain Basin and Back Basin at Norris Geyser Basin; Roaring Mountain; Mammoth Hot Springs; the Boiling River; the 45th Parallel; Roosevelt Arch; the Lamar Valley; Tower Falls; Dunraven Pass.
