Extended One Day Yellowstone Tour From Bozeman
Travel to West Yellowstone and enter the park at the west entrance. Tour the entire lower loop as well as the upper loop as far as Mammoth Hot Springs, before returning to Bozeman.
Bozeman is one of the closest towns to Yellowstone, and we operate five different Yellowstone tours from Bozeman.
When describing our tours below, we refer to Yellowstone’s upper and lower loop tours. Please check out what that means at the bottom of this page.
Travel to West Yellowstone and enter the park at the west entrance. Tour the entire lower loop as well as the upper loop as far as Mammoth Hot Springs, before returning to Bozeman.
Enter Yellowstone at the north entrance and travel to Tower Junction, and then the Lamar Valley, Yellowstone’s prime wildlife viewing location.
Departing from Bozeman we’ll enter Yellowstone at the north entrance and tour the upper loop. You will spend that night in West Yellowstone. The next day you will tour Yellowstone’s lower loop before returning to Bozeman through Big Sky that evening.
You’ll travel from Bozeman to West Yellowstone where you will spend the next two nights. Tomorrow you will tour Yellowstone’s upper loop and the following day you will tour the lower loop, before returning to Bozeman through Big Sky that evening.
Travel to West Yellowstone and enter the park at the west entrance. Tour Yellowstone’s main geyser basins, including Old Faithful, visit Gibbon Falls and then Mammoth Hot Springs, before returning to Bozeman.

The lower loop tour focuses on Yellowstone’s thermal features. Sights and areas we hope to show you include the Madison Valley; the Lower Geyser Basin including Fountain Paint Pot and the boardwalk system; the Midway Geyser Basin including Grand Prismatic Spring and Excelsior Geyser, plus the boardwalk system; the Upper Geyser Basin including Old Faithful, Old Faithful Inn and other geysers and hot springs; Biscuit Basin; Black Sand Basin; Isa Lake at the Continental Divide; West Thumb Geyser Basin with its boardwalks; Yellowstone Lake; Mud Volcano; the Hayden Valley; Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone; Gibbon Falls.
The upper loop tour has an emphasis on Yellowstone’s wildlife and beauty, while still including thermal features. Places we hope to show you include the Madison Valley; Gibbon Falls; both Porcelain Basin and Back Basin at Norris Geyser Basin; Roaring Mountain; Mammoth Hot Springs; the Boiling River; the 45th Parallel; Roosevelt Arch; the Lamar Valley; Tower Falls; Dunraven Pass.
